Is SocialLite Legit?

Yes. SocialLite is a free, privacy-first app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store that removes Reels, Shorts, and other addictive short-form content so you can stay connected without the distractions.

What SocialLite actually does

SocialLite is a standalone app that gives you access to Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and other social platforms — but with the addictive short-form video feeds removed. No Reels. No Shorts. No Spotlight. You still get DMs, posts, profiles, and everything else.

Why you can trust SocialLite

Available on official app stores

SocialLite is listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Both platforms review apps before publishing them.

Free with no hidden fees

SocialLite is completely free to download and use. There are no hidden subscriptions, paywalls, or surprise charges.

No data collection or selling

SocialLite does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Your credentials go directly to the social platform, not through SocialLite's servers.

Real team, real mission

SocialLite was built by people who experienced the same problem. It's not a faceless corporation — it's a small team trying to make social media less addictive.

How it works — no hacks, no jailbreaks

SocialLite is a standalone app you download from the App Store or Google Play. It uses web views to load the mobile versions of social media platforms, then hides the short-form content sections using CSS rules. It does not modify your device, your apps, or your accounts. Nothing is permanent — you can switch back to the native apps any time.

Best app I've ever installed
